Prof​ile

Christina Bisanz's background as a public affairs professional and community advocate includes an impressive range of accomplishments that have benefited numerous stakeholder groups and industry sectors. Her unique combination of senior leadership positions in healthcare, manufacturing, supply chain, retail, police services and consumer affairs organizations have contributed to her skills and strength in issues management, government relations, public policy and communications. 

Christina is currently CEO of CHATS--Community & Home Assistance to Seniors, serving over 7600 seniors and their caregivers in York Region and South Simcoe. Her volunteer activities have also spanned numerous community and business associations. She is currently a Board Director with Advertising Standards Canada, and the CARP Newmarket-Aurora chapter. Her prior Board positions include the Glenway Preservation Association, Canada's Sports Hall of Fame, the Consumers Council of Canada, and the Canadian Foundation for Pharmacy, to name a few. 

Christina received an Honours BA from the University of Toronto, and a Certificate of Distinction from the Program in Good Governance, Ontario Hospital Association. Christina has been a resident of Newmarket and Ward 7, since 1990. .

Ward Events

Ward 7 residents are invited to attend the Ward 7 New Year's Gathering on January 22, 2017 at the Ray Twinney Recreation Complex (100 Eagle Street) from 2 to 4 p.m. . Light refreshments will be served.  Free skating from 2 to 3:30 p.m.
