Join us for a magical evening as the water becomes the stage and where electronic music meets classical! Expect a multi-sensory experience of lights, water and rich fusion of contemporary and classical music by a mix of stringed instruments, loops and beats. 

Appealing to audiences of all ages, the evening will feature Dr. Draw a renowned classically trained electronic violinist, his accompanying ACOTE, the York Chamber Ensemble and emerging artist Aaron Paris. 

Be dazzled by the animated light sculpture installation on-stage, made in collaboration with the local digital innovation hub, NewMakeIt and the unique placement of a Pfaff Volkswagen.  

Feed your soul and enjoy this magical twilight experience in the heart of Newmarket.

Dr. Draw

Dr. Draw, is a classically trained violinist who is no stranger to the genres of rock, classical and electronic music culture.  As an artist who performs internationally, Dr. Draw "creatively interact with cultures all across the world," and is constantly evolving his musical style to bring together the seemingly disparate elements of classical violin, jazz-rock fusion, folk, and pop into a riveting masala that invigorates his audience and feed the soul.

DJ Acote is the new alias belonging to Toronto artist Jeff-Antoine Cote (fka BSMNT), blending minimal techno, drone, dub and bass music in a live hardware and DJ setting. Released on New Kanada, Modern Math, Aufect Recordings, Sounds of Sumo and Meat & Produce, as well as playing high profile events such as It's Not U It's Me at The Power Plant series, Shambhala Music Festival, HausMusik, TedTalks, and the FAWN Chamber Creative, he has developed the reputation for never performing the same set twice.

 York Chamber Ensemble

York Chamber Ensemble has been performing live classical music throughout York Region since its establishment in 2001. Performing at this event will be a group of 7 string instrumentalists combining beautifully crafted songful phrases and complex rhythms with tremendous panache.

Aaron Paris

Aaron Paris is an instrumentalist, producer, composer-arranger, educator and street performer based out of Toronto. He is classically-trained on the violin but also plays in a wide variety of styles including hip hop, trap, and R&B.  Aaron employs a colourful musical canvas through his use of special effects pedals and technology based loops.
